We are the IE-NO-HIKARI ASSOCIATION, a publishing and cultural organization of the JA Group (Japan Agricultural Cooperatives). We publish several magazines, including Ie no Hikari (family life), Chijō (agricultural and JA leadership), Chagurin (food and farming for children), and Yasai Batake (home gardening).We also publish around 45 books a year, mainly on cooking and gardening, as well as health, agriculture, and general knowledge. Our cookbooks feature everyday meals, rice-based dishes, healthy recipes such as medicinal cuisine, and sweets. Gardening titles range from basic vegetable growing to organic methods, and guides on fruit trees and flowers.

家の光協会は、ＪＡグループの出版文化団体です。家庭雑誌の『家の光』、農業・地域・JA組織リーダーのオピニオン雑誌『地上』、食と農を楽しみながら学べる子ども雑誌『ちゃぐりん』、日本で初めての家庭菜園雑誌『やさい畑』を刊行しています。書籍は、おもに料理書、園芸書を中心に、健康書や農業書、教養書などを年間45点前後発刊しています。なかでも料理書では、日々のおかずづくりやお米料理、薬膳などの健康食や食品ロスを意識したレシピ、さまざまなお菓子づくりの本を制作。園芸書では、ベーシックな野菜づくりから、農薬や化学肥料を使わない野菜づくりの本、また果樹や花の育て方まで幅広く発刊しています。
